Defying Gravity

Defying gravity.

It’s the same situation as the half cup empty; half cup full analogy. When you defy gravity, you could go all out to prove your worth. You could push against the odds and come out victorious. In other circumstances however, defying gravity seems to be a drowning experience against everything else. Against life and it’s exponential speed it hits us at.

Nobody can turn the clock to suit their needs. Unless you are a big bearded man who created Earth (which is highly unlikely if you belong to the internet era). Anyhow, it’s times like these that I understand what it means to defy gravity. To feel like everything else is going upward while you’re the only one sinking. Or when the train’s going port and you decide to run starboard.

The notion remains - defying gravity. How you go against the current and flow of things will make or break you. And it sure broke me. But once broken, how fragmented can you possibly go? The only way is back up. And that’s how you fall and then defy gravity. Then, you let it slowly build you right back up.

That same force once denying you happiness and rights, will be the same force that unites and binds.

As Matthew 6:26 states,
“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And which of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?”

Set yourself free and defy some gravity.
