Review: Uniqlo’s HEATTECH Tops

Before I begin, I just want to clarify that I am not getting paid to do this.

So prior to my trip, since I am such a Mommy’s girl, my very own beloved mother was helping me to pack my luggage right up till the 11th minute. Truth be told, she told me a couple of times,

“Oh I bought this _________ for you! You can wear it when (the weather gets cold. Or if it’s raining. Or if it’s sunny etc.)”

& I would always just respond with, “Okay, thanks! You can just dump it in my luggage.”

I did not even know exactly what the contents were, until I travelled 10,522km away from home.

When I unpacked and unravelled this nice smelling clothing that reminded me so much of home, I was eager to put it on. This Uniqlo Heattech thermal wear has been something that my parents so often raved about in China. (No, I am Singaporean and so are my parents.) I was always a skeptic and I tend to shoot my parents with the one-eyebrow, cryptic look. But oh boy, I am definitely won over by this incredible shirt now!

It is so thin, but it just somehow manages to keep you warm. How does one even do that, anyway???! I am incredibly impressed and pleased that this shirt which feels so much like cotton, is lightweight, yet it serves its function and purpose of keeping the wearer warm. Small, with a power punch. That’s what I am a huge fan of. Think Kacy Catanzaro.

If you can’t identify with sporty athletes, maybe science can help:

Yeah so if you are ever traveling to a cold country, or you just hate feeling chilly, I would say this little piece of smart technology will be worth your time and money. I used to be a cryptic, but I am sure Uniqlo just won themselves another fan, in addition to all their thousands of fans worldwide. I also overheard my parents bought 2 more of the Uniqlo Heattech shirts. ;)

Tomorrow, we will be reunited in the land that is way below sea level - Amsterdam (so excited!!) Gonna mega hug and squeeze their old bones with whatever’s left of my muscular arms. Hehe that’s all for now! Probably won’t be blogging much till I get back from my trips and after I catch up from the 2 weeks of lessons that I will be missing. Whoops.

Nomz, Cam

March

It’s so apt. We’re in the month of March and one of my all time favorite songs by One Republic is ‘Keep Marching On’. (If you haven’t heard it before, please do YouTube it!!) Yet, the beginning of March has been such a trying moment for... Continue →
