So much Ambition, but no Motivation
One week ago, Beat and I were in Munich :(
This thought depresses me so much. And it does not help that I study in a University town such as Leuven… (Probably a Pulau NTU equivalent) Everyone was hurriedly pulling their luggages and headed to the train station since MORNING. And after I ended my afternoon class, the city was literally a dead town. The hustle and bustle that kind of dies down after the end of a performance. Then the winds kept sweeping through my bones, and that tinge of sadness crept in once more. The same gloominess I had prior to my Munich trip. Didn’t help that the Sun was barely peering the past few days. I think I finally understand what they mean when they say “Winter seasons can be depressing”, and why all the Europeans/Westerners love the tropics so much.
BUT hey, at least I am getting the hang of it now! I am growing up already. No more crying, promise.
So anyway, Beat’s in Nice preparing for her Francophiles Triathalon (God bless her to have travelled all the way to the Southern part of France for that). And well, I have been busy planning for all my other travels too. Since le parents are coming over to Europe soon and I sincerely cannot wait to hug them so tightly and sniff them!!!! It may sound gross to you guys, but a familiar smell would really help fill my emotional tank up.
Was just looking through all my old China trip pictures :‘) and well I miss my nice long hair and good skin complexion and healthy smile and slim face
I’m all psyched up to tour Amsterdam and Lourdes with them. It may not be an easy trip (with our occasional squabbles), but nothing beats spending time with your loved ones. So bring it on! Wishing them safe travels from Hong Kong to Singapore later today. And since I have officially featured my extremely good looking parents, here’s one picture to say I miss you guys as well, Siblings Tan <3
