Frankfurt

Finally after a crazy long haul flight and being sandwiched in between Beat and some huge German, I am safe to say WE MADE IT.

From the airport to the hotel a stone’s throw away (although we did miss one shuttle bus initially), we are finally snuggled up in our beds and all ready to sleep after being awake for 24 hours now.

OK sleep first, blog later.

First kilometer

Before I get into trouble later, I rather post this today than ‘another day’. So that I can void myself of responsibility one day when she happens to chance upon this post.

Anyway, let me introduce to all of you, my travel buddy - Beat! :)

Firstly, she’s single, available & ready to mingle (though she has this whole herd of really good guy friends who are all somehow coincidentally good catches, I really don’t know what’s the deal between her and them to be honest) BUT IF YOU’RE A GUY AND YOU’RE READING THIS, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???

Lay Me Down

It’s my last week here in SG before I take on a whole new chapter in life.

(Sorry, I’m sure you know by now of my obsession with penguins)

It has been a hectic week of meet-ups and gatherings; a series of part time jobs and internship hours all in a bid to earn as much extra cash as I possibly can before I splurge those € notes. And I finally have the time and energy to get down to reviving this blog of mine. Initially I wanted to keep this blog private but I guess jotting down my exchange experience and lessons learnt will benefit myself and possibly others too. So I guess, why not just go public? After all, only...

Defying Gravity

Defying gravity.

It’s the same situation as the half cup empty; half cup full analogy. When you defy gravity, you could go all out to prove your worth. You could push against the odds and come out victorious. In other circumstances however, defying gravity seems to be a drowning experience against everything else. Against life and it’s exponential speed it hits us at.

Nobody can turn the clock to suit their needs. Unless you are a big bearded man who created Earth (which is highly unlikely if you belong to the internet era). Anyhow, it’s times like these that I understand what it means to defy gravity. To feel like everything else is going upward while you’re the only one sinking. Or when the train’s going port and you decide to run starboard.

The notion remains - defying gravity. How you go against the current and flow of things will make or break you. And it sure broke me. But once...
